What made you decide to get into real estate?
Real estate has always peaked my interest and I had previously thought about getting into home staging but then my focus shifted to starting my family. Queue baby and pandemic! I was on maternity leave from my career from 911/Ambulance Dispatch when we had to make a tough choice as a family. We just knew real estate would be a great fit for me and my personality.
Why do you love working in real estate? What part of the process makes you feel the most accomplished/happy?
I love helping people. I truly do. Coming from a background of helping people on the worst day of their lives to hopefully their happiest, really makes my excited.
Which location are you an expert in, and why?
Well I grew up in Whitefish but have also spent a lot of time in the Valley/Hanmer area since my mom and her family are from there. I now live in Val Caron with my husband who was raised here since the age of one and who’s parents still own that same house. I fell in love with the Valley the moment I moved here 6 years ago.
What makes Lake City Realty different?
Lake City is beaming with pride and joy everywhere you turn. From the moment I noticed their For Sale signs around town to when I first met Dave(virtually), I knew Lake City was different in a good way. The bright coloured signs, the collaboration as apposed to competing…it feels super inviting and comforting. I also LOVE the way everyone puts themselves out there on social media. No one is hiding and they truly want you to KNOW who is behind Lake City.
What can we find you doing in your spare time?
Anything outdoors! I love camping, nature walking, sitting by the pool, working in my flower beds. I also love creating just about anything!
