What made you decide to get into real estate?

Real Estate became a natural next step for me and my career. I have a background in marketing, where the last 8 years of my career were spent being a Marketing & Creative Director. During that time, my husband opened his own general contracting company called Corland Contracting Inc. building and renovating custom homes. Together we are operating and growing that business which led our growth strategy to include me taking my experiences into Real Estate.

Why do you love working in real estate?

I love working in real estate for so many different reasons. There is what seems like endless learning, teaching, and growth opportunities within this industry and I love that I am never stagnant. Every deal is unique and presents its own challenges, and I love that I get to create special connections with each of my clients throughout their buying or selling journey.

What part of the process makes you feel the most accomplished/happy?

For me it comes down to the trust and respect that’s been built between myself and my clients. Earning their trust and respect as an expert in this field throughout their home buying or selling process and them truly knowing that I will always have their best interest is the best feeling.

Which location are you an expert in, and why?

The South End, Lively and Gatchell are what will always feel like home to me and where I have the most experience in.

What makes Lake City Realty different?

Lake City is different in so many ways, and a lot of those ways are the reasons I also chose to build my business here. We are family oriented here, most of us are parents to young children and we have such a collaborative and supportive group who are always willing to help each other out. For our clients, I think you’d be hard pressed to find another brokerage who is as committed as we are to pushing the needle forward and who offers the service package that we do.

What can we find you doing in your spare time?

In my spare time you will find me with my husband and girls, likely in the North Channel of Lake Huron on our boat, or at a beach! Water, windswept pines and sunshine give me life!

One word to describe yourself?

Bright.
