It's Not Business as Usual
It's Not Business as Usual
Hi everyone! Welcome back to another episode of Selling the Rock - your Sudbury Real Estate news! We hope everyone is staying safe and doing whatever they can to contribute to flattening the curve. It's been quite amazing to watch communities come together - we're seeing so many industries step up all around the province to help pool resources that are in demand.
David discusses the release of the list of essential services and workplaces that can remain open. Brokerages and real estate agents are allowed to stay open for business. We are here to help clients that are in immediate needs - whether they are in the midst of a move or whether they're in a position where it's a necessity for them to be in a house. We are still here.
David praises the president of the Real Estate Association's leadership and guidance on how to best act and do your business during these interesting times. Even though we have been listed as an essential service that can remain open for business, we should fully realize that face to face meetings should not be happening at all. It is so important that we all practice our own version of social distancing.
During these dark times, David shines light on the good in all of this. It's almost like life has been paused and we're able to spend our time enjoying each other...enjoying our families. Both teachers and nurses deserve a huge shout out. I'm sure the last two weeks of social distancing has caused a lot of parents to appreciate the level of patience teachers have for kids. And nurses, well they are the heroes of all of this. We can't thank them enough for being brave and continuing to be there to support our community while facing scary unknown waters with shortages of supplies and staff.
At Lake City Realty, we've always stood behind our belief that NO deal is more important than the client. This is exactly what we're looking at now: people's health, the community...the individual comes before anything else. Hopefully you are all staying safe and doing whatever you can to practice social distancing. Hopefully we can see the affect of communities rallying together.
