Weekly Wrap Up - April 4th - 10th

Hey everyone! Here's last weeks 'weekly wrap up'! We're sorry it's coming at ya a few days late, but we hope everyone had an awesome Easter weekend!

David shares his thoughts on last week's market stats! There was a shocking number of sales; a total of 31! Nine of which happened with multiple offers! There were only 15 new listings; which is definitely good to see as it paints the picture that people are staying home and playing their part in flattening the curve. 5 new construction sites were listed - a surprising stat to see, considering Doug Ford's announcement on construction holds.

The number of sales for the week seems to confirm David's overall guess of where the market is going. We've had a lot of talks internally at Lake City Realty. Initially, we were happy to enjoy this pause on life and sit on the sidelines. However, there has yet to be a light at the end of the tunnel. Everything is pointing to this being long term and things are not going back to normal as quickly as we'd hoped. It's time to have more in-depth conversations with our sellers of how we can virtually expose their homes to buyers. Clearly, there's an appetite for houses, given the stats for last week.

Bringing the weekly wrap up to a close, David chats about what the spring market will bring in Sudbury. So, TUNE IN and let us know what your thoughts are! And of course, cheer us on! Like, comment, subscribe or leave a review to let Dave know how Selling the Rock has brought value to your daily lives!
