The Must-Haves
Location wise, I wanted to be closer to work. As for the must have features for the house, I wanted a well kept - up to date home, a basement and a backyard. Having the opportunity to have a thorough house inspection performed prior to the purchase was also a big must!

The experience of searching for a house for me was very stressful due to the competitive market right now in Sudbury. I would find a house I like only to find out it had already been sold for 20-30k over asking price.
The Best Part of Your Buyer Experience?
Being able to view all different types of houses and the work that went into them. I saw a lot of 'catfish' houses that appeared nice in pictures, however, had many things wrong with the design and interior. Having Tristan there to point these out was a huge help!
Mat's Top Buying Tip 🌟
I would recommend seeing as many houses as possible. By seeing more houses, you gain a better understanding of what you can get at your desired price and what houses are listed too high for what they offer. It is a long stressful process, but it is also lots of fun viewing the different homes in different areas of town!
